JCGS Invests in Jackson County Students

Since 1991, JCGS has worked to discover, preserve, and share Jackson County’s family stories. Scholarships are how the Society invests that same mission in the county’s next generation.

The Jackson County Genealogical Society believes that preserving our county’s story means investing in the people who will carry it forward. Each year, JCGS offers scholarships to graduating seniors at Jackson County’s four high schools — Blue Ridge Early College, Jackson County Early College, Jackson Community School, and Smoky Mountain High School.
