Two Volumes, One County's Story
Volumes I and II of the Jackson County Heritage Book were researched and published by the Society itself — in keeping with JCGS’s mission to discover, research, and exchange material related to Jackson County history and genealogy, and to provide for its preservation and accessibility.
The two volumes sit alongside the Society’s larger collection — heritage and history books from surrounding counties, and a few from Georgia and Tennessee — in the JCGS library, open to the public during office hours for on-site research.
